How do I create an individual investor account?

  • Navigate to app.iownit.us and click on Create an account.
  • Enter information in all fields and click on Create an account.
    The platform will send the link to your email address to authenticate.
  • Verify your email and complete the account opening process as prompted. Be sure to choose the Individual Investor role.

To create an Individual Investor account on the iownit platform: 

  1. Navigate to app.iownit.us and click on Create an account.
  2. Enter information in all fields.
  3. Click on Create an account.
    The platform will send the link to your email address to authenticate. If you do not receive the verification code, please check your spam or bulk email folder. Be sure to add the email to the safe sender list. 
  4. Verify your email and complete the account opening process as outlined below.
  5. Choose the Individual Investor role.
    Please be careful when selecting a role. You will not be able to change the selected role once you have clicked the Choose Role button.
  6. Supply (all mandatory):
    • Your Name and Birthdate
    • Citizenship
    • Address
    • Employer
    • Phone number
    • Income
    • Verify Accreditation (self-verify if you are an accredited investor). If you reply that you are not accredited, your registration is canceled.
  7. You can provide your Social Security Number (SSN), upload of your driver’s license (or other ID), bank account, and trusted contact’s information later in the process but this information will likely need to be provided to Compliance to invest.

 

How we use your data

Your information and data provided on the iownit platform is stored securely. The SSN will be used to perform AML & Know Your Customer background check and a credit check on the user.
