How do I create an institutional investor account?

  • Navigate to app.iownit.us and click on Create an account.
  • Enter information in all fields and click on Create an account. Use an organization email address with an organization email domain to register an Institutional Investor account. The platform will send the link to your email address to authenticate.
  • Verify your email and complete the account opening process as prompted. Be sure to choose the Institutional Investor role.

To create an Institutional Investor account on the iownit platform, the Primary Institutional Contact (PIC) needs to follow the steps below: 

  1. Navigate to app.iownit.us and click on Create an account.
  2. Enter information in all fields. Please keep in mind that you must use a corporate email address to register an Institutional Investor account.
  3. Click on Create an account.
    The platform will send the link to your email address to authenticate. If you do not receive the verification code, please check your spam or bulk email folder. Be sure to add the email to the safe sender list. 
  4. Verify your email and complete the account opening process as outlined below.
  5. Choose the Institutional Investor role.
    Please be careful when selecting a role. You are not allowed to change the selected role once you have clicked the Choose Role button.
  6. Supply (all mandatory):
    • Your Legal Name and Birthdate
    • Citizenship
    • Residential Address
    • Employer
    • Phone number
  7. You can provide your Social Security Number (SSN) and upload of your driver’s license (or other ID) later in the process but will need this to invest.

 

How we use your data

Your information and data provided on the iownit platform is stored securely. The SSN will be used to perform AML & Know Your Customer background check and a credit check on the user.
